Perbandingan Efektivitas Daun Kelor (Moringa oleifera) Daun Sirih (Piper betle) dan Daun Pisang (Musa paradisiaca L.) sebagai Bio-Koagulan Alami terhadap Kualitas Air di Kecamatan Seulimum sebagai Upaya Mendukung Pencegahan Stunting

Kualitas air sungai yang kurang baik dapat menjadi salah satu faktor lingkungan yang berpotensi memengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektivitas daun kelor (Moringa oleifera), daun sirih (Piper betle), dan daun pisang (Musa paradisiaca L.) sebagai bio-koagulan alami dalam pengolahan air sungai di Kecamatan Seulimum. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-experimental dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Perlakuan terdiri atas P1 menggunakan daun kelor, P2 menggunakan daun sirih, dan P3 menggunakan daun pisang sebagai media filtrasi. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pH, kekeruhan, dan besi (Fe), dengan pengujian Fe hanya dilakukan pada air sampel awal dan P1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pH pada seluruh perlakuan masih memenuhi baku mutu. Kekeruhan mengalami penurunan pada P2 dan P3, sedangkan P1 tidak menunjukkan perubahan. Namun, seluruh hasil kekeruhan masih belum memenuhi baku mutu. Kadar Fe pada P1 justru meningkat setelah filtrasi dan masih melebihi baku mutu. Penggunaan bio-koagulan alami memberikan respons yang berbeda terhadap setiap parameter, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengoptimalkan media dan mengetahui mekanisme perubahan kualitas air.
